ABA Therapy for Families in Stilwell
Early childhood is one of the most important times for learning and development. At The Behavior Project's Stilwell clinic, we provide evidence-based ABA Therapy that combines the science of early intervention with the power of play to help children build communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
Grounded in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI) principles, our approach uses meaningful, play-based experiences to teach skills that carry beyond the clinic and into everyday life. Every treatment plan is individualized to help each child reach their full potential while supporting the whole family along the way.

Supporting Your Family Beyond the Clinic
At The Behavior Project, we believe families are an essential part of every child's success. Our goal is to provide parents and caregivers with the guidance, support, and practical tools they need to feel confident helping their child grow both during and outside of therapy.
Parent support is built into every child's program from the start. Families meet regularly with their child's BCBA to review progress, discuss goals, ask questions, and learn strategies that can be incorporated into daily routines at home and in the community. The skills children develop in therapy are intended to carry over into everyday life-from mealtimes and bedtime routines to school, playdates, and family activities.
Because every family has different experiences, goals, and questions, parent support is tailored to your individual needs. By working together, we help families better understand their child's treatment plan, encourage skill development across settings, and feel confident supporting continued progress at home.

What Sets Us Apart
Locally Owned
The Behavior Project is a locally owned ABA practice serving families throughout the Kansas City metro. Our clinical leadership is guided by Dr. Kate, who holds the BCBA-D credential, the highest designation in the field of applied behavior analysis.
BHCOE Accreditation
We are nationally accredited by the BHCOE (Behavioral Health Center of Excellence), a distinction earned through rigorous standards in clinical quality, staff training, and family experience. Most practices in the Kansas City and Overland Park area do not hold this accreditation.
Experienced & Dedicated
We have been doing this since 2018 and served more than 500 children. That kind of track record doesn't come from a corporate rollout or a private equity playbook. It comes from a team that genuinely cares what happens to each child who walks through the door.
We Accept Most Major Insurance Plans
Our team works directly with your provider to verify coverage and simplify the process, so you can focus on care—not paperwork.
