ABA Therapy for Families in South Overland Park
Choosing the right support for your child is an important decision. At The Behavior Project's South Overland Park clinic, we provide early intervention ABA therapy that combines evidence-based care with the power of play. Grounded in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI) principles, our approach helps children build new skills through engaging, meaningful interactions during one of the most important stages of development.
We create opportunities for children to strengthen communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills through engaging activities that are individualized, motivating, and developmentally appropriate. By partnering closely with families and designing treatment plans around each child's strengths and goals, we help children build skills that extend beyond the clinic and into everyday life.

Supporting Your Family Beyond the Clinic
At The Behavior Project, we believe supporting families is just as important as supporting children. Our goal is to help parents and caregivers feel informed, confident, and equipped with the tools they need to support their child's growth beyond therapy sessions.
Parent support is built into every child's program from the very beginning. Families meet regularly with their child's BCBA to review progress, discuss challenges, ask questions, and learn practical strategies that can be incorporated into daily life. The skills your child develops in therapy are intended to extend beyond the clinic-supporting success during mealtimes, bedtime routines, school, community outings, and everyday family interactions.
Because every child and family is different, parent support is tailored to your individual goals, questions, and priorities. By working together, we help families better understand their child's treatment plan, reinforce new skills across environments, and feel more confident supporting continued progress at home.

What Sets Us Apart
Locally Owned
As a locally owned ABA practice, we are deeply connected to the Overland Park and Johnson County communities we serve. Our clinical leadership remains actively involved in each child's care, with programs guided by Dr. Kate Lamb, who holds the BCBA-D credential.
BHCOE Accreditation
We are nationally accredited by the BHCOE (Behavioral Health Center of Excellence), a distinction earned through rigorous standards in clinical quality, staff training, and family experience. Most practices in the Kansas City and Overland Park area do not hold this accreditation.
Experienced & Dedicated
We have been doing this since 2018 and served more than 500 children. That kind of track record doesn't come from a corporate rollout or a private equity playbook. It comes from a team that genuinely cares what happens to each child who walks through the door.
We Accept Most Major Insurance Plans
Our team works directly with your provider to verify coverage and simplify the process, so you can focus on care—not paperwork.
